At Bernese Puppies Kennel, we are committed to raising healthy, well-socialized Bernese Mountain puppies and placing them in safe, responsible homes. This Return and Refund Policy outlines our terms regarding deposits, payments, returns, and replacement options. By purchasing a puppy from our kennel, you agree to the terms described below.
Puppy Deposits
All deposits placed to reserve one of our Bernese Mountain puppies are non-refundable. Deposits are required to secure your selected puppy and remove it from public availability. This ensures a structured and fair puppy adoption process for all families interested in our puppies.
Final Payments and Sales
Once full payment has been made and the puppy has been picked up or delivered, the sale is considered final. Due to the nature of live animal adoption, Bernese Puppies Kennel does not issue monetary refunds after a puppy has left our care.
Returns and Rehoming
We understand that circumstances can change. If you are unable to keep your puppy, you must contact us as soon as possible at info@bernesepuppieskennel.com. We do accept the return of a puppy under the following conditions:
- The puppy must be returned in good overall health and condition
- The buyer must notify us and receive approval before returning the puppy
- The buyer is responsible for all transportation and associated costs
Our priority is the well-being of every Bernese Mountain puppy. Any returned puppy will be carefully evaluated and placed in a new suitable home.
Replacement Puppy Policy
In certain situations, Bernese Puppies Kennel may offer a replacement puppy instead of a refund. If a puppy is returned or a valid concern is raised, we may provide another puppy based on availability and agreement with the client.
The replacement puppy option is subject to the following conditions:
- The original puppy must be returned or evaluated as required
- Replacement depends on available litters and timing
- The client may express a preference for a future puppy, but availability cannot be guaranteed immediately
- Any additional costs such as transportation may apply
This policy allows us to support our clients while ensuring responsible placement and care of all puppies.
Health Guarantee
All Bernese Mountain puppies from Bernese Puppies Kennel are provided with a health guarantee at the time of adoption. Buyers are required to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 to 72 hours of receiving the puppy.
If a serious health condition is confirmed within this period, the buyer must contact us immediately at info@bernesepuppieskennel.com. We will review the situation based on veterinary documentation and may offer support, guidance, or a replacement puppy when appropriate.
Order Cancellations
If you decide to cancel your reservation after placing a deposit, the deposit remains non-refundable. In some cases, we may allow the deposit to be transferred to another available Bernese Mountain puppy or a future litter.
Buyer Responsibility
Purchasing a puppy is a long-term commitment. By adopting from Bernese Puppies Kennel, you acknowledge your responsibility to provide proper care, including nutrition, veterinary care, training, and a safe living environment.
We strongly encourage all buyers to ensure they are fully prepared before completing the adoption process.
